So many times in our lives, we expect God to be like a genie who answers each one of our prayers the way we would like. But God has a plan and way that He desires to work in our lives that sometimes fits into our plan and others does not. Have ever had your prayers answered in ways you did not expect?

Discipleship

What are we doing?

I issued a challenge to our group to become involved in discipleship. We will begin meeting at 6:45am at Jack’s on Tuesday. This will last until school is out for Christmas. It is my prayer that this is the beginning of a great discipleship ministry.

Worse Before Better

In this passage of Exodus, Moses and Aaron take the message of God to the Hebrews and things soon get much worse before they get better. Many times in our lives things get worse before they get better. Be comforted because God is walking with you through those days. God is always with you and walking along with you no matter what you are going through.

Many times God uses circumstances and events in our lives to get our attention, so God used a burning bush to get Moses. Even though Moses made excuses God had answers to Moses’ excuses and empowered Moses to lead the nation of Israel out of Egypt.
